  • Europa World Yearbook
    First published in 1926, the year book is renowned as one of the world's leading reference works, covering political and economic information in over 250 countries and territories, from Afghanistan to Zimbabwe. Easily compare tables and charts of international statistics.
  • EuroStat
    Eurostat is the statistical office of the European Union situated in Luxembourg. Its task is to provide the European Union with statistics at European level that enable comparisons between countries and regions. Eurostat's mission: to be the leading provider of high quality statistics on Europe.
  • GeoHive
    The main component is tabulated population statistics: current, historical, estimates, projections, cities, agglomerations, etc. In the resources section one can find a long list of national statistical agencies and other interesting resources. What is not there at this site: much text!
  • International Monetary Fund

    Since its foundation, the United Nations System has been collecting statistical information from member states on a variety of topics. The information thus collected constitutes a considerable information asset of the organization. However, these statistical data are often stored in proprietary databases, each with unique dissemination and access policies. As a result, users are often unaware of the full array of statistical information that the UN system has in its data libraries.

  • World Health Organization
    The GHO issues analytical reports on the current situation and trends for priority health issues. A key output of the GHO is the annual publication World Health Statistics, which compiles statistics for key health indicators on an annual basis.
