Images: How to Caption

To caption an image in a Word document: 

Create Caption:

1. Click Image
2. Click References > Insert Caption
   1. Choose a Label that reflects the type of image
   2. Type in caption info

Format Caption: 

1. Home > Styles > control click Caption > Modify

Update Caption Numbers (if you delete a numbered caption):

1. Select All the material in the document
2. Control click > Update Field

To caption an image in Google Docs:

Download add ons:

• Add Ons > Get Add Ons
  • Captionizer
  • Caption Maker 

(Or just create captions by hand)
