Adirondack Research Library: Maps

This guide serves as a starting point to introduce faculty, staff and students to resources held by the Adirondack Research Library located at the Kelly Adirondack Center of Union College.

The Adirondack Research Library holds many thousands of contemporary, historic and topographical maps of the Catskills and Adirondacks. A majority of these have been scanned and are available upon request. Projects with maps could encompass visualizations of land-use classifications over time, how place names have changed, the accuracy of historic surveys and maps, use of historical maps in coordination with GIS and more.
