CLS-202: Archaeological Methods : Getting Started

A quick guide on how to find and use primary sources at Schaffer Library, Special Collections and Archives for the CLS 202 documentary archaeology project.

General Information

For general information on a building, landscape, or campus feature, take a look at the Encyclopedia of Union College history. It is available at the circulation desk, the library stacks and online.

Using the Catalog

Published materials can be found through the Schaffer Library catalog. The location information will tell you whether or not it is held by Special Collections. One of our holdings will look something like this. We will still need to pull this from the closed stacks for you.
