How Do I?: Get Started with RefWorks

What is RefWorks?

RefWorks, which is paid for by Schaffer Library, is web-based reference management software mainly for collecting and organizing bibliographic information and generating bibliographies and citations in the output style of your choice (Chicago/Turabian, ACS, APA, etc.). It is therefore helpful for research projects, from annotated bibliographies to literature reviews to theses.

RefWorks can be used on any computer with Internet access. Data is stored on RefWorks' servers.

RefWorks LibGuide Overview

This LibGuide overviews prominent features of RefWorks to help you get started and comfortable using this citation software. This guide, however, is not exhaustive and does not cover every feature of RefWorks. To learn more about this tool, I would encourage you to simply explore it by clicking on different menus and features to test them out. You can't go wrong: RefWorks us very intuitive and user friendly. And please email me with any question that you have.
