JStor--JStor is a digital library of back issues of academic journals, books, and primary sources. Core titles from each discipline are included, but access typically does not include the most current 3-5 years.
Project Muse--Full-text of scholarly, peer-reviewed journals focusing on the fields of literature and criticism, history, the visual and performing arts, cultural studies, education, political science, gender studies, and many others. Browse by title or research area. 1995 to present.
The most often used citation styles for History resources is the Chicago Manual of Style. This guide provides examples of citations, but you may also want to look at the Style Guide from Purdue's Online Writing Lab.
