Bloomberg is a financial data, news, and media company. Its core revenue-generating product is the Bloomberg Terminal, which is a computer system that allows access to Bloomberg data service providing real-time market data and electronic trading. It is a leading information service for global financial markets with over 250,000 terminals used by investment professionals around the world.
The Terminal is available for use in the back of the Learning Commons on the first floor of Schaffer Library (near the photocopiers). There is a huge "BLOOMBERG" logo in front of the room
Students and faculty can access the room anytime they want. However, the one who books the room first has the highest priority to use the Terminal during the reserved period. Nevertheless, sometimes the person sitting in the room is the Bloomberg Counseling Student, whose job is to assist people to use the terminal. Therefore, do not be afraid to knock on the door and ask questions!
Appointments with Bloomberg Student Consultants can also be booked using the link above. Please be specific as much as possible in the problem description so that we know how to assist you.
Please send any questions or concerns to bloomberg@union.edu. We will get to you as soon as possible
