Bloomberg Terminal is a computer system that allows access the Bloomberg data service, which provides real-time financial data, news feeds, and messages for analysis and study.

Bloomberg Market Concepts (BMC) is a self-paced ten-hour e-learning course that provides an interactive introduction to both the financial markets and the Bloomberg Terminal. BMC can be a helpful credential in job applications, offering a certificate of completion that can be mentioned on résumés.

The Terminal is available for use in the back of the Learning Commons on the first floor of Schaffer Library (near the photocopiers). There is a huge "BLOOMBERG" logo in front of the room

Students and faculty can access the room anytime they want. However, THE ONE WHO BOOKS THE ROOM ONLINE FIRST HAS THE HIGHEST PRIORITY TO USE THE TERMINAL DURING THE RESERVED PERIOD. Nevertheless, sometimes the person sitting in the room is the Bloomberg Counseling Student, whose job is to assist people to use the terminal. Therefore, do not be afraid to knock on the door and ask questions!
