For students and faculty attending Union College: Be aware that that If you have already created a Bloomberg account, you cannot create another account at the Schaffer Library.
If you do not have a Bloomberg account set up yet and would like to create one at the Library Bloomberg terminal, please follow the steps below.
Double-click the Bloomberg icon 
on the desktop to access Bloomberg.
To create an account:
- Start by hitting Enter <GO> to get to the login screen
- Click on Create a New Login. And by the way, Bloomberg will only accept your campus email in the setup process.
- Fill out the form to create your own account, including a username and password. Note: You must supply a home phone and an office phone.
- When prompted, choose the SMS notification option and keep your cell phone handy. Bloomberg will text you a log-in authentication code that you will need to complete your account creation
- Once you have submitted the form, you will receive a text almost immediately.
Log in with your newly created login information and you are all set!
