Research data management describes the organization, storage, preservation, and sharing of data collected and used in a research project. As you conduct your research, you likely will produce a variety of data sets whose lifecycle need to be managed.
Grant-funded research may request a Data Management Plan, or DMP. This plan provides details about how a researcher will manage data during their research (e.g., backups and storage needs) and what will happen to that data when the research is finished.
Schaffer Library has a number of agreements with publishers that provide open access publishing without author page / author publishing charges (APCs). These agreements are helping to ensure that Union's research articles are available to as wide an audience as possible.
